Vijay Deshpande has more than 25 years experience from diverse, multi industry and multi sector, mainly manufacturing MNCs in HR, ER and IR Leadership Roles and holds a Masters Degree in HR from Mumbai University and Post Graduate Diploma in HR Management from NMIMS, Mumbai, India.

His past experience has been with top notch MNCs, a few to name Skoda Auto India, Volkswagen Group, Hindustan Coca-Cola, GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Owens Corning India Ltd, Clariant India, ASB International, Tata Steels Ltd (Tata SSL).

Vijay Deshpande, Ex-Director HR and Board Member, Skoda Auto India, and the Chief HR Consultant of Sharp Group of Companies brings with him a very hands-on perspectives on most of the Contemporary HR and IR topics and Current Challenges faced by the HR and IR Professionals during this VUCA times.

At present, Mr. Deshpande is also the Director of People Sciences, a HR and IR Management and Advisory Consulting Firm founded by him and he is also on various committees of Institutes like  Thane NIPM Group, HR Professional Bodies, Institute of Industrial Managers …to name a few.

Mr. Deshpande is also a strong exponent of managing High Performance Organization Culture through Strength Based Approach and driving Supervisor less Organization for educated workforce.

Dr. D. Prasanth Nair

Dr. D. Prasanth Nair, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Calicut University and doctorate from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. His doctorate thesis was on the organizational and human resources issues in Mergers and Acquisitions. Dr. Nair started his career in the engineering field with GEC Alsthom India Limited. Post his Doctoral studies, he had been associated with the Human Resources function in the RPG Group and Wockhardt.

Currently, he is the Managing Partner and Country Head of Inhelm Leadership Solutions – a HR firm specializing in Executive search, Consulting and  Training. InHelm also works with the Small and Medium Enterprises in the people dimension space. Additionally, Dr. Nair is a Principal Consultant in Catallysts Constellations – a strategic management consulting firm. He heads HR for bookmycab.com and is also a Director on the Board of Medicca Press Limited.

Before this, he headed Global HR for Cipla. He also headed the Human Resources function and Insurance distribution business for Thomas Cook India Limited. He was a member of the Thomas Cook Group HR Directors Forum and the Thomas Cook Group Sustainability Working Party.  Dr. Nair has contributed papers and articles to various magazines and journals.

Dr. Nair has been active in various industry forums like the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bombay Management Association and involved in academic forums having served on the Board of Studies at some of the Institutes besides being guest faculty at premier management institutes. He has been recognized for his contribution to HR through awards, the recent ones being

Currently, he is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Universal Group – an HR conglomerate, which is an accomplished business-consulting firm with capabilities encompassing the entire gamut of Human Resource, Sales & IT functions, as well specialized offering employee background screening and document verification.

His past experience has been with top notch MNCs and crucial Roles in heading the HR function, a few to name TATA Steel, Johnson & Johnson and HDFC Standard Life.

He is the founder and currently President of Universal Management Forum. Furthermore, he served as Chairperson for renowned associations such as Bombay Management Association (BMA) and National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM, Mumbai, India’s oldest & largest HR Association). Ms. Misra has over 3 decades of experience in the Hospitality, ITES, Retail and Travel Trade  industries  with best of breed companies like the Taj Group of Hotels, GE and Cox & Kings, WiproBPO  (ex Spectramind) and Aditya Birla Retail . She holds a graduate degree in Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, New Delhi . She has certifications in psychometric testing, including Firo B, MBTI, DISC and is a master practitioner in NLP and Certified Hotel Administrator and Educator from the American Hotels & Motels Association. She has also undergone training in T – group methodology in NTL, Florida, USA.

Ms. Misra has successfully managed various International projects in the hospitality and BPO industries in India, Romania, Singapore, Germany & USA. Senior leadership roles with various Global Corporations she has had an opportunity to work closely with Industry Leaders and participate in strategic business decisions which have influenced significant revenue impact.   Ms. Misra has handled Business Operations, Projects, Learning &Development and Human Resource.

In her current engagement in leading the HR practice, she is responsible for defining the human capital agenda, CXO level hiring, differentiated reward strategy, diversity programs, management of culture, leadership & organization development across the group . She also handles Administration and Facility Management and supports Business Operations actively.

Her strength lies in creating a balance between the needs of employees with the organizational mandate and developing necessary processes to ensure risk mitigation & compliance.

Besides direct corporate responsibilities, she keenly participates in sharing her experience and knowledge with students and Freshers and enjoys speaking to student communities in various institutes, including IBS, Mumbai Sydenham College & Balaji Institute of Management, Pune. She is also an advisor to a training organisation and in one of the premier management schools in India.

Vasant S. Tejale, Ex-Deputy Commissioner of Labour, is a DLLLW and MLW&IR holder and has more than 34 years of experience in Enforcement, Implementation, Conciliation, Office Administration in Metropolitan cities, Strike, Lockout, etc. under the various Labour Laws and has been working in both Private & Public Sector.

Currently working with Core Integra as a Consultant in the field of Labour and Management relations.

He joined as “Govt. Labour Officer” in the State Labour Department in 1977 (Mumbai) and completed his association as Deputy Commissioner of Labour“ until his retirement in the year 2011. Worked as “Controlling Authority” under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 and also worked on the Internal Compliant Committee constituted under the new Act 2013 (Sexual Harassment Prevention & Prohibition Act).
